This and the next two stages have similar river character. See Stage 16 for some commentary about the river and features. Note that we pushed along in relatively fast boats. If you are planning a gentle, relaxed paddle, allow for an extra hour or more on the water.
Access:
The entry point is at the end of Loch Garry Road, at the neck cutoff . You can drive right down to the waters edge at this point.
The exit point is at Breens, off the end of Rathbornes Road. There is no easy access to the edge of the water at Breens, i.e. no point bar beach or boat ramp.
